SEATTLE, WA— The SIG Sauer P320, one of the most carried sidearms by the U.S. military and police forces all over the country, has been permanently banned from use at facilities managed by the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission (WSCJTC), citing reports that the firearm can discharge when not triggered.

As reported by King 5, Monica Alexander, WSCJTC executive director, told reporters, “My position has to be safety because we know so much now that if I make a different decision, I don’t feel like I’m being responsible.” The use of the firearm at WSCJTC facilities was halted in October pending the results of a task force investigation into claims that the P320 was the cause of an “uncommanded discharge” by a recruit at a Spokane firing range.

No one was injured in this incident, but given the firearm’s accidental discharge record, which reportedly has led to 80 injuries as of April 2023, according to The Washington Post , with police officers numbering among the injured. The Post reported that at least 33 officers at 18 separate law enforcement agencies were injured in accidental P320 discharges dating to 2016.

Former Virginia deputy Marcie Vadnais, whose career ended with an accidental discharge from a P320 in 2018, told King5, “It’s literally like setting a ticking time bomb wherever it’s sitting waiting for it to go off.” Vadnais suffered a severe thigh injury and needed multiple surgeries.

SIG Sauer denied the P320 is capable of firing without a trigger pull in a letter to WaPo, writing in part,

“These reports, among others, support three conclusions. (1) Unintentional discharges are not uncommon amongst both law enforcement and civilians, (2) improper or unsafe handling is one of the most common causes of unintentional discharges, and (3) unintentional discharges occur with several types of firearms and are not unique to the P320.”

The company added, “Despite years of litigation and extensive discovery, no one, including plaintiffs’ ‘experts’, have ever been able to replicate a P320 discharging without a trigger pull,” and goes on to state that the P320 does conform to all applicable U.S. standards for safety. “The SIG Sauer P320 model pistol is among the most tested, proven, and successful handguns in small arms history.”

Despite the categoric denial from SIG, the issue has become so well known that it was recently a topic of discussion on the Top-100 ranked Unsubscribe Podcast featuring firearms experts, veterans, and former law enforcement officers.

WATCH:

Firearm expert turned Congressional candidate Brandon Herrera noted during a conversation comparing them to Glock firearms, “It's just like a known thing now that happens.” He added, “I don't dislike SIG like, I have a couple of their guns and like it's you know a perfectly acceptable gun but let's just not pretend like that's not a f***ing prevalent issue.”

Co-host Nic aka “The Fat Electrician,” an Army Reserve Veteran and historian, cited recent videos “where it's like a cop just like literally talking to somebody and his gun just goes off and what the F*** in the holster… completely holstered gun and he's like talking and it's just like security cam footage and the gun just goes off.” Starting the co-hosts and guests riffing on SIG, he quipped that to Herrera who noted other gunmakers were “half a century behind” Glock, “you guys laugh but SIG figured out how to make him shoot themselves so its a real innovator.”

According to reporting from King5, WSCJTC estimates that approximately 10% of Washington officers carry SIG P320s, with documentation revealing it to be standard issue for the Bellevue Police Department, Burlington Police Department, and Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office. These jurisdictions could see a significant expense to rearm, retrain, and resupply their personnel. Kevin McCarty, a spokesman for the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office, told the outlet they are already investigating a new handgun to transition to.

America First Caucus Policy Platform (Archived)

This is an archived copy of the originial America First Caucus Policy Platform as reported by Punchbowl News. And was not authored by The #HollowNet or Matthew Holloway.

America First Caucus Policy Platform

The America First Caucus (AFC) exists to promote Congressional

policies that are to the long-term benefit of the American nation. The

North Star of any policy proposal will be that which serves the

American people, and any consequential analysis of policy platforms

must be based on this first principle.

As this implies a degree of ideological flexibility, a certain intellectual

boldness is needed amongst members of the AFC to follow in

President Trump’s footsteps, and potentially step on some toes and

sacrifice sacred cows for the good of the American nation. Policy

areas as far ranging as foreign intervention, economic development,

immigration, trade, tech regulation and social policy need to be

re-examined from the ground up to ensure that what remains keeps

the interest of Americans at heart.

It is the firm belief of this Caucus that American policy-making needs

to get back to first principles, restore a long-term time horizon

amongst our nation’s leaders, and instill a greatly internalized sense of

service to the American people on part of our elected leaders. As long

as these principles are put and kept in practice, the interests of the

American people will be safeguarded.

Election Fraud

The AFC is in support of nationwide systemic electoral reform. Both Democrats and

Republicans have pointed out for years the systemic failures in our election tabulation. A

Republic that relies on elections must ensure its elections are fair and transparent. There is a

growing consensus that both objectives have failed.

Recent election results demonstrate a compromised integrity of our elections and made our

election system a subject of global mockery. Across the country federal elections have been

undermined by using voting machines that are readily compromised and illegally accessed

whereby results appear manipulated, voters are disenfranchised, and faith in our system

eroded.

Mail-in voting, long recognized as subject to fraud, has become normalized. We will work

towards an end to mail-in voting, implementation of national voter ID and substantive

investigations into mass voter fraud perpetrated during the 2020 election.

Sovereignty

America was founded on the basis of individual and state sovereignty, to ensure that no free

American would be lorded over by a Monarch ever again. Unfortunately, bureaucrats in

Washington, D.C. and the elites who control them have risen to form a new oligarchy — one

that is far more decadent, corrosive and hostile to the will of the people than the Founders could

have ever dreamed of. This is why sovereignty is of paramount importance to the AFC.

We will work to divest power from the federal government and give it back to the states and the

people to restore the balance of federalism. We believe in, and will fight for, the principles of

federalism and decentralization of political power; the government closest to the people is the

best equipped to handle their concerns. At the federal level, this means exposing deep state

actors, shrinking the regulatory state, and eliminating thousands of regulations and indeed

entire bureaucracies.

Big Tech

Silicon Valley tech firms have become the most powerful arbiters of information in the history of

mankind. The treasure trove of data they have collected from Americans have given them

powers that would make a Soviet dictator blush. We have seen these powers weaponized and

deployed against conservatives in recent years, even as Big Tech firms continue to allow

terrorists and pedophiles to organize and publish on their platforms. This represents an

egregious offense against the First Amendment and the values enshrined within it. The America

First Caucus is calling for a solution that starts with reform of Section 230 of the

Communications Decency Act.

Immigration

The America First Caucus recognizes that our country is more than a mass of consumers or a

series of abstract ideas. America is a nation with a border, and a culture, strengthened by a

common respect for uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions. History has shown that societal

trust and political unity are threatened when foreign citizens are imported en-masse into a

country, particularly without institutional support for assimilation and an expansive welfare state

to bail them out should they fail to contribute positively to the country. While certain economic

and financial interest groups benefit immensely from mass immigration, legal as well as illegal,

and the aggregate output of the country increases, the reality of large segments of our society

as well as the long-term existential future of America as a unique country with a unique culture

and a unique identity being put at unnecessary risk is something our leaders can afford to ignore

no longer.

As such, America’s legal immigration system should be curtailed to those that can contribute not

only economically, but have demonstrated respect for this nation’s culture and rule of law.

America’s borders must be defended, and illegal immigration must be stopped without

exception.

Moreover, we cannot ignore the impact that mass immigration has on reducing job opportunities

and depreciating wages for Americans. Further restricting immigration would ensure that

American jobs go to American workers. The econometric evidence and consensus amongst

labor economists is that in addition to being a substantial net drain on the public purse,

post-1965 immigrants decrease the capital-to-labor ratio within the national economy, thereby

causing a massive shift in the gains of the economy from wage earners to the shareholders and

owners of large firms.

An important distinction between post-1965 immigrants and previous waves of settlers is that

previous cohorts were more educated, earned higher wages, and did not have an expansive

welfare state to fall back on when they could not make it in America and thus did not stay in the

country at the expense of the native-born. Another important point of note is the many pauses in

immigration that have taken place in this country following a large intake of immigrants. These

pauses have been absolutely essential in assimilating the new arrivals and weeding out those

who could not or refused to abandon their old loyalties and plunge head-first into mainstream

American society.

A measure of a country’s greatness is the value recognized in being a citizen. As such, we

cannot tarnish this important designation by rewarding those who failed to follow our laws at the

expense of those who have, which is why amnesty must be rejected in all forms. Additionally,

we must abolish unnaturalized birthright citizenship, which actively encourages hostile interests

to undermine the legitimacy of democratic self-governance by engaging in subversive “birth

tourism” and chain migration. Lastly, federally imposed refugee resettlement programs should

be rejected due both to disruption to small communities and the corruption rampant within these

programs.

Infrastructure

The America First Caucus will work towards an infrastructure that reflects the architectural,

engineering and aesthetic value that befits the progeny of European architecture, whereby

public infrastructure must be utilitarian as well as stunningly, classically beautiful, befitting a

world power and source of freedom. As the Romans demonstrated with aqueducts, walls and

roads, function and beauty are not at odds. Federally funded infrastructure, including roads,

buildings, airports, seaports, bridges, should demonstrate a pride of workmanship. A bridge is

not merely something to cross from side A to side B, it is a connection among peoples.

Infrastructure is one of the few areas where the federal government should exercise its

constitutional authority. For decades, America has been sending trillions of dollars out the door

to support the infrastructure of other nations—even to countries that hate the United—with

nothing to show for it. Simultaneously, our domestic infrastructure is failing, crumbling and

decaying from within. This Caucus will work to direct as much money as possible to our

domestic infrastructure needs.

Dilapidated roads and bridges should be rebuilt, dams and wastewater plants must be secured,

borders secured, drinking water systems improved, amongst other much needed additional

investments. The America First Caucus knows that these projects impact the daily lives of

American citizens.

Foreign Aid

Whether it is aid for humanitarian or military purposes, sending taxpayer money outside of the

nation is generally an unwise undertaking and an entanglement that rarely provides any benefit

to our citizens. Often, these funds end up in the wrong hands, are squandered through

corruption, or go toward the pet projects of liberal interventionists. With so many unmet needs

in the United States, helping other countries with their infrastructure, their military, their

immigration problems and their economies makes no sense.

American tax dollars should not go toward teaching gender studies in Pakistan or supporting

ideologically subversive non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Taxpayer money should be

spent at home, allowing individual Americans to make charitable contributions to those around

the world in need. The America First Caucus believes that the American people are the most

kind and charitable in the world, and they would be far better at allocating their own money than

having corrupt bureaucrats play around with it.

National Security

For far too long, a hawkish neoconservative foreign policy has been the default for the American

Right. This has resulted in America being bogged-down in endless conflicts with trillion-dollar

price tags in addition to having thousands of American heroes losing their lives as a result.

Meanwhile, our nation’s infrastructure and our border security have been traitorously neglected.

Decades in Afghanistan have accomplished little except to enrich defense contractors and

empower the military-industrial complex. The people of Afghanistan have endured an endless

parade of violence typically with one side funded by our tax dollars. Regime change operations

in Iraq and Libya have proved disastrous, while doing nothing to keep Americans safe. Indeed,

after the Obama Administration used our military to topple Libyan President Qadafi, Libya has

turned into a failed state where there are open slave markets, lawlessness and chaos. What

was once a functioning state is now a failed state, because of Obama’s intervention. This is not

what our military was meant for.

The America First Caucus recognizes that America can no longer afford to be the world’s

policeman. Instead of endless interventions, bold diplomatic endeavors must be undertaken with

countries such as Russia and North Korea to ensure a more peaceful and stable world. America

should not be sacrificing blood and treasure while our so-called allies refuse to pull their weight

in contributing toward neutralizing threatening actors in the world. America must remain a free

and independent Republic, not a globalist watchdog.

Coronavirus

Ever since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus originating from China and the first known case

of coronavirus in the United States on Jan 21, 2020, the United States government and health

organizations issued guidelines and policies that would hinder and destroy the American

economy in many ways. These guidelines, which includes mask mandates and social distancing

rules, are socially conditioning the culture and behavior of Americans. Additionally, to truly

enforce social distancing and hopefully diminish the spread of the disease, many state

governors have decided to lockdown their states, meaning that businesses deemed ‘non

essential’ are not allowed to open and provide service. Together, these policies and guidelines

have ruined many businesses to bankruptcy such that many Americans are left unemployed

and potentially destitute. Social problems, including suicide and divorce, have escalated

because state governors, which the encouragement of the CDC, have locked down families. At

the time the virus landed in the United States, there was not a lot known about the new disease.

Now, a year later, there is much research and data.

It is essential to discontinue the lockdowns, remove capacity restrictions and allow businesses

to continue operations. Now that the damage is done, many Americans are in need of

assistance to pay their bills: the government should thus effectively provide direct financial

support to improve the livelihood of Americans. The America First Caucus will work to make

sure we do not overreact to a pandemic in this same way again.

Trade

Ever since the end of the Second World War, the sine qua non of being a conservative has been

to support unrestricted international trade. The main intellectual justification of this has been The

Theory of Comparative Advantage, which was first proposed by David Richardo over two

centuries ago. One key flaw that has been overlooked by establishment Republicans and

Democrats alike is that the theory assumes negligible movement of capital and labor across

borders. The absence of such a condition today, combined with the shift in commercial priorities

from productivity and innovation to cost cutting, has meant that free international trade simply

serves to homogenize living standards around the world. It should hardly come as a surprise

that the transfer of wealth to millions in the Western Pacific has resulted in millions being kicked

out of the middle class in the North Atlantic.

Free trade accomplishes many of the same nefarious economic goals that mass immigration

does. Essentially, it allows capital to search for markets with the lowest capital-to-labor ratios

that will allow it in, which in turn allows this capital to exact higher returns by exploiting the

relative excess of labor that exist in the third world, transforming these countries into essentially

industrial plantations run by semi-slaves. At the same time, workers in capital-exporting

countries such as America have less bargaining power because of the decrease in capital,

which puts massive downward pressure on their wages and benefits, assuming they even

manage to hold on to their jobs. Not only is this devastating to their standard of living, but the

lack of meaningful work in the production of tangible goods serves to eviscerate any sense of

dignity and worth these workers and their families had, resulting in the myriad of social ills we

see in rural America today, such as the opioid epidemic.

There are also non-economic considerations that have been neglected in the debate on trade,

namely the issue of national security. In such a globalized economic system, supply chains for

even the most basic and essential goods are spread to the four corners of the globe. This only

makes sense from a purely short-term monetary point of view. While this form of production

might be profitable to specific firms in the short-run, it is an unmitigated disaster to the long-term

interests of many countries, including our own. Any hiccup in the global supply chain can result

in massive supply shocks around the world, a reality that was glaringly exposed during the

COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns. The fact that any section of our food and medical supply

chains are located in China, our greatest geopolitical adversary, would have been considered

treasonous not too long ago.

Politicians on both sides of the aisle have outsourced America’s manufacturing for decades,

offshoring jobs, deflating wages and destroying communities, particularly in rural America.

Under these bad ‘free trade’ deals, other countries have also placed strict restrictions on U.S.

exports entering their borders. The America First Caucus believes it is time to stop worshipping

at the altar of idealized free trade, and actually deliver for American workers. We call for a new

approach to trade that prioritizes American workers, treats U.S. exporters more fairly, imposes

tariffs and import restrictions where necessary to protect our vital industries, and holds

malevolent state actors—especially China—accountable for violating our trade laws on issues

ranging from intellectual property left to forced technology transfers. Every new free trade

agreement considered by Congress should be thoroughly assessed in order to ensure it

benefits our country’s manufacturers and workers.

We also cannot forget that jobs are personal—they impact individuals and families in unique and

specific ways. Pretending that rising GDP or faster access to higher-quality products is always

better than meaningful work for American workers and their families is a betrayal of our values

and demonstrates complete ignorance of long-term consequences.

Environment

Conservation of the nation we live in is an important aspect of American nationalism. Since the

1980s, climate change, formerly known as global warming, has become a hot button political

issue. The America First Caucus supports conservation of the environment and our national

lands for the benefit of our nation. Having said that, we should not cripple our country’s

manufacturing sector through agreements such as the Paris Climate Accords. We oppose the

globalist, vague, and irrelevant policies being pushed under the guise of combating climate

change. If Americans want to conserve the environment, they should push for better waste

management and other substantive remedies, not wasteful social justice programs like the

Green New Deal.

Environmentalism also includes proper allocation of resources. Fishermen and hunters have

legitimate, and culturally deep, ties to the land. Gold mines, copper mines and oil wells

contribute to our modern lifestyle. All of these are to be balanced with preserving opportunities

for hiking, camping and enjoying the visual beauty of our lands. On federal lands where the

impact on local farmers and ranchers would be minimal, rewilding initiatives, including

megafauna reintroductions, should also be explored, creating new opportunities for business

and tourism

Energy

While it is vital to preserve our environment, we should not use it as an impetus to destroy the

energy industry that hires millions of hard-working Americans. Our elected officials should stand

proudly with America’s struggling coal country against job-killing regulations, and welcome the

ongoing shift towards clean coal. In addition, the construction of the Keystone XL and Dakota

Access oil pipelines will promote North American energy independence and allow the United

States to more easily extricate itself from the conflicts of the Middle East. Moreover, hydraulic

fracking technology, when used appropriately, can provide more affordable oil and gas for

Americans, and therefore any attempts to ban this practice on a national level should be

resisted. The America First Caucus supports innovation in green energy, such as in the form of

nuclear energy. However, it is important to closely scrutinize and reduce taxpayer subsidies for

wasteful green energy projects that fail to deliver the required return on investment for the

American people.

Protecting the Value of American Savings

Since the 1940s, the American dollar has been the global reserve currency, a position which has

greatly benefitted the real American economy by strengthening the purchasing power of wages

and savings. Unfortunately, the strength of America’s monetary position has been under attack

for decades by Keynesian economists domestically, and by globalist institutions looking to

enhance China’s position on the global stage. We must oppose international currency

manipulation and its detrimental long-term impacts for the American economy and U.S. dollar.

We must protect the rights of Americans to best position themselves for a changing economy by

promoting the development of cryptocurrency companies domestically, and defend the rights of

Americans to hold private stores of wealth – including gold, silver, and other blockchain-based

currencies like Bitcoin.

America First Education

The 20th Century saw the decline in many vital American institutions. None has been more

damaging to the United States than our education system. The increased consolidation of

educational spending came with it the ability for powerful left-wing special interest groups to

redirect the focus away from preparing future generations of national talent to progessive

indoctrination and enrichment of an out-of-control elite oligarchy. Even worse, our education has

worked to actively undermine pride in America’s great history and is actively hostile to the civic

and cultural assimilation necessary for a strong nation. The future of America’s position in the

world depends on addressing the crisis in education, at both the primary and secondary level.

The Chinese Communist Party

Not since the fall of the Soviet Union has America faced a civilizational challenge from another

state actor quite like the modern Chinese Communist Party (CCP). While the liberalization of the

Chinese government in the 90’s and early 2000s gave hope that the CCP was moving in the

direction of being a peaceful and beneficial actor on the world stage, the Xi-era has been one

defined by the dangerous resurrection of Neo-Maoist thinking.

Unfortunately, American corporations – following federal policies that have actively incentivized

investment outside of the US – have chosen to place short-term financial interests at the

expense of basic human decency. In doing so, we must confront a dangerous new reality where

much of America’s soft power is actively siding with an increasingly hostile-global actor, at the

same time America’s military has been mismanaged into overextending itself in the sands of the

Middle East.

We must also check against any globalist institutions that increasingly laud the authoritarian

nature of the CCP as a model for future governance, and not a terrifying rejection of civilized

society. Furthermore, we understand that the rise of China means that the United States must

be prepared militarily and economically to compete with a peer-competitor.

On the #CapitolSiege... It was a Trap

Capitol

Yesterday, I did the best I could to bring news of the Capitol Siege in Washington, DC to the #HollowNet and #MoJo50 audience. My coverage was far from perfect and was beset by technical issues compounded by my own sense of shock at what I beheld happening in real-time. The tragic death of Ashli Babbitt, truly shook me and I pray for her family.

The Trap

In the morning light, with the Congressional confirmation of the Electoral College vote complete with little objection following the emergency recess: I mourn.

I mourn for our nation's future, I mourn for the lives lost, and I mourn for the moral high ground which was sacrificed with every officer assaulted and with every act of damage to and disrespect for the peoples' house.

Allow me to be clear: #ElectionIntegrity has failed in our nation. As citizens we no longer believe our voices matter, this has proven out in polls and in the violence of yesterday. Conservatives have been mocked, ridiculed, labeled as bigots, racists, homophobes et. al. for twenty years, by not only our political opponents but by the media and academia they hijacked long before my generation was even born. Couple this with a complicit silicon valley, building a social media ecosystem seemingly designed to inflame tensions as much as possible and it becomes clear. THEY WANTED THIS.

The Fifth Generational War

It was a Trap, it was a lure and we bit down. HARD. The reaction of a limited number of President Trump's supporters, possibly joined by disingenuous agent provocateurs egging them on, was a long cultivated one. All of the many slights and insults, affronts and assaults literal and figurative the right has endured in the last two decades have led to this. This is fifth generational warfare, the war of propaganda, and we just lost, the left was finally successful in "triggering" us.

As I wrote today for GOP NewsFeed "We are seeing the next step in the ongoing "Fifth Generation war" between the right and left, a battle of perception and propaganda the  cultural and moral war, to distort the perception of the American people and warp our worldview forever. In that ongoing conflict, yesterday was a significant setback. But we must not allow the left to control the narrative, the most potent weapon is truth."

#RepealThe17th & #MakeTheSenateGreatAgain, Ben Sasse was Right.

On this week's #HollowNet Matt breaks down Senator Ben Sasse's Op-Ed in the Wall Street Journal: #MakeTheSenateGreatAgain and details how state legislative appointment of US Senators creates more meaningful representation than a direct vote. The United States IS NOT A DEMOCRACY nor was it ever intended to be, and the 17th Amendment stripped the Senate of it's value, it should be repealed. Matt also shares his impressions of 9/11 growing up just down-river in New Jersey...

Not #TrumpRiots or #BidenRiots. They're #StatesRiots; They Belong To The Governors

#Trump? #Biden? No, neither. Our Governors are to blame. Restoring order just isn't in their interest. They'd rather keep you afraid.

Portland, Minneapolis, Kenosha, Seattle, Scottsdale, Chicago, Indianapolis, Austin, Washington D.C. These once great American cities have become synonymous with looting, burning and rioting in 2020. Joe Biden and Vox (and many other outlets) would have you believe that President Trump is to blame, meanwhile President Trump and many on the right would have you remember Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for emboldening rioters by actually paying their bail and promising not to call out the National Guard.

Each side has their talking points, but to put it bluntly: Trump is no more responsible than Biden for this particular sh*t show. If you're looking for someone to blame, the owners of this mess are extremely clear: The Governors who've allowed this tragic escalation of violence to continue. Not out of concern for the "peaceful protesters" mind you, but for the far more cynical causes of cowardice and political expediency.

Let's take the Governor of Oregon for example:

Kate Brown, Governor of Oregon.

Few political feuds have the length and depth of that between Governor Kate Brown and President Donald Trump some 120 days and counting.

“For the last several years, and escalating in recent months, President Trump has encouraged division and stoked violence. It happened in Charlottesville. It happened in Kenosha. And now, unfortunately, it is happening in Portland, Oregon,” she said. “But despite the President’s jeers and tweets, this is a matter of life and death,”- gov.
At every turn, despite her attempts to place President Trump's twitter account in the crosshairs, Governor Brown is the only figure with the uncontested power to bring the riots in Oregon to a swift, decisive and far less costly (in lives and dollars) conclusion. As Governor, she has exclusive command of Oregon's State Police and National Guard, and should she find herself unable to bring the situation under control: she and only she can request the President of the United States use the federal military to restore order. It is not the she is unable, the trouble is that she appears unwilling.
"Section 9. Governor as commander in chief of state military forces. The Governor shall be commander in cheif [sic] of the military, and naval forces of this State, and may call out such forces to execute the laws, to suppress insurection [sic], or to repel invasion. Section 10. Governor to see laws executed. He shall take care that the Laws be faithfully execute" -The Constitution of the State of Oregon

The situation is Oregon is replicated across Washington, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and on a smaller scale in cities like Austin and Washington D.C. All have Governors (or Mayors, some both) who due to their political self interests and the interests of the national figures whom they wish to curry favor from have abdicated their sworn duties to their constituents and constitutions. These failures to act represent not only an impeachable offense for each official (Governor Brown only just survived a recall attempt, likely to be the first of many), but these failures and the resulting damage and deaths may rise above the protections of qualified immunity and constitute Criminal Negligence

Enough political grandstanding by our Presidential candidates, enough evasion by our State officials! They need defer to no-one but their constituents!

Any conservative, libertarian or constitutionalist worth his or her salt knows, lives & breathes the Tenth Amendment and should know: it's not only about States' Rights, but States' responsibilities! Our States and our Governors are responsible for domestic security first and foremost, the federal government is only, ONLY empowered to act when the States' means are overcome. However, when the State governments REFUSE to act, then it falls to us, to the citizens to act. INITIATIVE, REFERENDUM, RECALL, SUE & VOTE.

It may be that President Trump and the federal Government are compelled to act against the will of the Governors to protect American citizens under the Insurrection Act of 1807, but this should always be the last resort, this isn't what anyone should want.

"A government big enough to give you everything you want, is a government big enough to take away everything that you have." Senator Barry Goldwater, 1964

#KyleRittenhouse GoFundMe For Legal Defense Taken Down

The GoFundMe campaign "Help Us Free Kyle" created by  Kyle Rittenhouse's father Tom Rittenhouse has been taken down according to various tweets and media reports. The #HollowNet confirmed this as of 7AM PST 8/27/20. “Please, help me save our son Kyle! He did nothing wrong, he is being railroaded by the state,” the preview for the campaign read prior to it's deletion.

Gabriel Keane of Nationalfile.com reported:

A GoFundMe page raising legal defense funds for 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, who video suggests shot two men in self defense Tuesday during the Kenosha riots but has been charged with first-degree murder, has been removed from the site within minutes of going live.

Users who wanted to donate to the page were greeted by a message that read “We’re sorry, but that campaign cannot be found.”

TheBlaze.com's Elijah Schaffer (Image credit above) has provided continuous coverage of the developing chaos in Kenosha, WI and given crucial context to the events leading up to the shooting that took place during the Kenosha riots on August 25th. Extensive video records exist from multiple sources which leave very little room for creative interpretation of what appears to be a defensive shooting.

GoFundMe and the Mainstream media at large have clearly rendered judgement on the case which is still under investigation. In a politically/socially motivated decision GoFundMe has continued and even promoted the campaigns supporting the families of rioters Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum who were killed in the shooting.

It appears that in the court of public opinion as adjudicated by the Twitter mob, GoFundMe and multiple Mainstream media outlets. Kyle Rittenhouse has been found guilty.

The #HollowNet- #LiberalPrivilege is Political Bigotry

On this week's #HollowNet we're talking about #LiberalPrivilege. No, not #DonaldTrumpJr.'s new book (that doesn't drop until Aug 25th), no we're talking about what #LiberalPrivilege really is: Political #Bigotry or #Politicism as Matt calls it. You can't and shouldn't discriminate against someone for race, creed, color, sex or national origin, but apparently the #Leftists can discriminate against #Conservatives & #Libertarians all day?

It's Time To Change.

Dear Friends, Readers, Viewers & Listeners,

I began The #HollowNet podcast on the Lanterns Media Network almost two years ago with a vision of creating a different kind of conservative podcast/talk-show. Despite the best intentions I had, the product that I've been creating has been seriously insufficient in that respect. Try as I might to be unique, I find myself sounding a lot like many other voices on the right, calling out the stories that boil my blood, confound my reason and bring gloom to my soul. I comment on these stories weekly, providing snippy acerbic responses, wash, rinse & repeat. It just isn't good enough, and now something has to change.

As many of you may know but some may not, The #HollowNet as of last week was the only remaining active podcast on The Lanterns Media Network roster. Some shows have taken hiatus, some have moved on to different networks where I will continue to follow them and wish them success and happiness while others have simply ceased production with no announcement or ceremony. That last bit, is not what I'm doing now.

As I said, this needs to change. I cannot continue bringing you The #HollowNet Podcast such as it is in it's current form, when I look at this website I see two things, over a year's worth of good work yes, but also... a monument to my ego & vanity. I have so many questions that I need to answer before I can come before you again and ask you to read, watch & listen to my content, let alone support it (in no particular order):

  • Is what I am creating of sufficiently high quality as to be worthy of your time, attention and support?
  • Is what I'm creating helping? Locally? Regionally? Nationally?
  • Am I bridging the ideological gulf or widening it?
  • Am I educating people or simply reinforcing their echo chambers?
  • Am I providing new and valuable insight with nuance or have I become another partisan hack?
  • Is what I am creating pleasing to the Lord?
  • Is what I am producing worthy of the time taken away from my family and from gainful pursuits that can increase their quality of life?
  • Is what I'm doing to create this content healthy? ( So much of what I read and watch in order to create content is very damaging to the soul.)
I cannot answer these questions right now. And it may take me some time before I can. Thought, prayer, humility and grace will be required. Thank you all for sticking with me these last 12 months, through ups and downs, I know some of you have been with me even longer and I cannot thank you enough.

Know, that I have every intention to continue creating content for you, whether it takes the form of a podcast, short-form Youtube/Bitchute videos or more writing I cannot yet say. But this is not the end, not for The #HollowNet and not for me, it is simply as I said: Time To Change. Until then my friends, God bless you & God bless The United States of America.

Sincerely,
Matthew D. Holloway

#NoPlatform Is The Opening Salvo Of The #ColdCivilWar: Here's The List of Casualties So Far

Image result for #No-Platform

The first front of the 2nd Civil War has already opened, the first battlefield is online. We have already begun to see the "deaths" of several online personae and several online groups. Silicon Valley powers on the left have expressed their true intent: the bloodbath of 1's and 0's has only begun. It's also worth noting that we're fools to think this is only an American phenomenon, the UK is as divided as we are and the battle rages on there as well, except in the UK the government is an active player in the conflict. Just ask Mark Meechan, Youtube's "Count Dankula"

It began quite slowly and quietly from 2011-2015 with fairly legitimate bans based on abusive language & defamation (Phil "Thunderf00t" Mason, Godless Spellchecker, Chuck Johnson.. see #gamergate). Gradually, white supremacist & alt-right users of twitter like Richard Spencer and David Duke were banned and the world largely approved on moral grounds, these seemed reasonable and right at the time. What we couldn't have known then (although some suspected) was that big social media (Facebook, Twitter & Google) were merely testing the waters. The frog was placed in the pot, back then it was warm, today it is a roiling, scalding cauldron.
As of October 2018 not only are conspiracy peddlers like Alex Jones being hit with the "ban-hammer", no. Now even prominent conservative broadcasters like CRTV's Gavin McInnes and even more disturbing his entire group of affiliated "Proud Boys" are being banned en Masse!

It remains to be seen as to whether McInnes will be able to reverse the permanent bans placed upon him on Facebook/Instagram & Twitter a la CRTV's Steven Crowder who successfully reversed a similar ban in March of 2018 through the highly successful #FreeCrowder campaign. Perhaps a #FreeGavin or #FreeTheProudBoys initiative may be in the offing? Only time will tell. Also quite quietly the Alex Jones ban was completed with the ban of all Infowars related accounts by twitter as of October 22nd and if the New York Times is to be believed, the bans are working and InfoWars, even Jones himself are beginning to suffer with NYT reporting:
"In the weeks after Facebook and YouTube barred him last month, the audience for his Infowars website and videos fell nearly by half, according to a New York Times analysis." -Hilary Swift for The New York Times
CreditCredit
Gird yourselves friends, they're going after much larger targets now, they are emboldened by their successes and the battle-field belongs to them. They proved that this week, when in a concerted effort of web-providers and pay services, they even took down Gab.com

Prominent Casualty List (chronological):
Robert Stacy McCain February 2016
Milo Yiannopoulos July 2016
Anthony Cumia 11 June 2017
Carl "Sargon of Akkad" Benjamin 14 August 2017
Roger Stone October 2017
James Allsup December 2017
Paul Golding,  Jayda Fransen & Britain First Party 18 December 2017
Tommy Robinson 28 March 2018
Owen Benjamin 5 April 2018
Alex Jones & InfoWars 6 September 2018- 22 October 2018
Gavin McInnes & Proudboys 11 August 2018- 31 October 2018
